Background
On April 10 2010, Inkundla Community Interest Company ( Inkundla ) hosted a one-day conference to address Leadership in Matabeleland.
The goal of the inaugural Leadership Indaba was to deliver Leadership strategies that the people of Matabeleland can use to improve the quality of life in the community. It was an outstanding opportunity for presentation and discussion of issues in the main areas of Development, education, arts & culture, business, sport, religion, health, politics and family.
The conference objectives were met to the extent that the delegates agreed a timeframe to network, map out Development levels and priorities and consider how to use Leadership skills to make Development and Investment projects legal and financially possible. A conference on Investment and Development was then proposed for when some of those targets have been reached.
